$250.00 of supplies. #2 pine toungue and groove beadboard, assorted #2 1x12 boards, a 9 foot length of molding, assorted screws and finisj screws etc…

Started cutting on Sunday, Just spent 2 hours applying wood conditioner followed by Vintage Aqua woodstain. It is a blue green stain that coordinates well with my bedroom decor.

I have spent a few hours a day piecing it together as I have had time.

Far sturdier and rigid than what I have seen at most pet stores for stands, and no particle board to absorb water and crumble…

I will let the oil stain outgas until Saturday before I start applying the Polycrylic.

Looks really good. Looking forward to seeing what it looks like with the tank on it.
