As we all know, we all have very different setups, fertilizer and maintenance routines. This makes it really hard to try to "just do what he does". You have to understand WHY a successful person is doing something and then APPLY it to you situation. This may require some modifications to HOW something is done but the goal (or target) should be the same for multiple people.
In order to make this easier for all of our members, we've made some additions to our Profile Pages. You can now include a lot of information about your aquarium, maintenance and fertilizer routines. This way, you can look up someone who you think is successful and see what they are doing. Then, you can apply it to your situation.
This also allows members to diagnose problems in a much better way because the details of what you are doing are listed in your profile.
How to add your routines to your profile:
click on your name in the navigation bar.
Then click on Account Details like so:
Scroll down a bit and you will see the fields for you to enter your personal information:
Click Save and you're done. Now go to your Public Profile and you will see everything listed. The more valuable thing is to go check out someone else's profile that you think has a beautiful tank and see what they are doing! If they don't have their information completed, send them a message and ask if they would be kind enough to complete it so that the ScapeCrunch family can benefit from their work.
