How this forum works

This forum is intended to capture the community's thinking around the best products (any type of equipment) for planted tanks. Someone will make a post (suggestion) of a best product and the rest of the community can vote it up or down depending on their view of the product.

Products with very high positive votes will be listed higher in the forum so that they are easy to find.

How this forum works

1. If you have a suggestion that has not already been posted: post your suggested product and manufacturer with as much detail on it as possible.
2. If your suggestion has already been posted: then upvote the post that contains your suggested product.
3. If you disagree with a suggested test kit: then downvote the post that contains the suggested product.

You can vote for a suggestion by clicking/tapping on the grey arrow at the right of the first post:


Once your vote has been recorded, the counter will increase and it and the arrow will change to orange:
