Hi there! My name is Arlene W. and I am the incoming president for the Greater Washington Aquatic Gardeners Association (GWAPA) in the Mid-Atlantic region. I am also the editor for Clippings, the monthly Aquatic Gardeners Association (AGA) newsletter. I am very fortunate that I know a lot of aquascapers and some of the leading people in the aquatic industry from around the world.

I don't really aquascape as much as I'd like to, but I do love collecting plants. I can't wait to meet more of you, whether online or in person.

Hello and welcome to the forum.

We have a lot of plant collectors here so you should fit right in!

Welcome to ScapeCrunch, Arlene! I'm so thankful you decided to join us here. Looking forward to discussing our hobby with you.

Like you, I more enjoy the plants but certainly appreciate the aquascaping. I'm just not very good!

May I ask where you heard of ScapeCrunch? We're trying to grow our membership and I want to know where people are hearing about us.

All the best,

Art

@MadScientist Welcome on board, looking forward for your participations :)

BTW is the 'Aquatic Gardeners Association (AGA) newsletter' available for subscription, does it have a link that you can share with us?

The newsletter, Clippings, is sent monthly via email if you are a paying member of AGA.

Sign up and join AGA. You get a lot of perks including the latest news with the organization, updates on events happening around the country, and access to videos of talks/presentations of past conventions. You also get a quarterly printed volume, The Aquatic Gardener, mailed to you that contains photos and articles about aquascaping and plants.
