I have been invited to join this forum by a friend of the BarrReport.com forums, and here I am, hoping to find new and old friends.

Something about myself:

I began playing with planted tanks back in 1984, and planted tanks have been my passion for my entire life. I have contributed for the past 20 years to the world of freshwater planted tanks on the web, mostly on the Barr Report forum, where I am among the moderator team:

The 80's were like the Wild West for planted tanks, as you well know. I can't believe how much we have learned since then. At that time, I had probably killed more plants than a lawnmower cut grass on a football field.

Now I grow so many plants that I could put in a nursery

Some of the best journals ever can be found Barreport. I can't overstate how much Barreport has given me, and thanks to you @fablau and several others now active on ScapeCrunch. My tank is not that interesting for hosting a journal, try to do my own thing to contribute, but hope that ScapeCrunch will eventually be as good as Barreport used to be with long running educational and entertaining journals.

Barreport was the first site I genuinely got hooked to. I would peruse the articles and journals constantly, and always refer back to them if I got lost or needed clarification. Still a ton of good info in there, like an ancient tomb filled with secrets and treasure.
