I am setting up a 120XH (60x18x25) soon I will be moving from a 90g with an FX4 and Oase. I am torn between filters and a sump…Three Options:
1. Fax4 with a Tidal 110 (check

3. Wet/Dry sump.
If it were me, I would go with a traditional sump. You don't want a wet/dry like we had back in the day. However, a standard sump will give you many benefits over canisters and hang-on filters.
- you can hide everything in the sump
- usually more space for the bio filter
- easier to clean the mechanical filter
- you can use a more powerful return pump
- if you use them, you can hide temp and pH probes
