This aquascape has good potential but the background stems need to grow taller and fill in better. The barclaya should be adjusted to the left so that it is in the proper place for a focal point. Google 'rule of thirds' or golden ratio' to learn more about focal spots. The Hygro compact is too centered.

If this tank can grow Tonina, it must be a pretty good place to be a plant. Nice to see you Barclaya, my old friend. Other than that, this tank needs a lot of attention paid to photography, hiding equipment, allowing background plants to mature to size etc. Fish are oversized. Substrate is distracting. Allowing the Kimberley and the Rotala in the back to mature for a couple of weeks would have helped.

Suggestions: use less distracting substrate. Photograph the tank head-on. Allow plants to reach their desired height. Try smaller fish. Remove equipment.
