I've seen a guy post a couple ferns for sale on FB. They are new since I was bigger in the hobby. Anyone know much about them? Growing habit? Size? I'm a bit interested in one. The bidding goes high when the guy posts them. Vandenboschia maxima and Crepidomanes auriculatum

I'd post links, but I can't remember the rules here on SC. Don't want @Koan to come after me. 😁

Not to be any sort of way and genuinely just asking, but you are aware these ferns are terrestrial and not aquatic correct?
No, I didn't dig too deep. They are being sold on a planted tank auction, so I assumed they would grow submersed like Java fern and Bolbitis heudelotii.

Talking about Li? He's a legit dude, imports those himself. They work submerged, but they are touchy and very slow. Ive got a couple hymenasplenium from him, had about a year. You can assume they are currently in an emersed state, and count on it just sitting there for a couple months before slowly starting to grow

It wont be like throwing a bolbitis in there, lol, which is what I expected when I first saw them. Extremely cool plants though

No rules around linking to other sites @BenB. Just follow our Family Dynamics.
