So I realized that 20 years ago this year, I started Aquatic Plant Central. I went and looked at my first post back on January 20, 2004 and saw that Rex Grigg was post two with his comment "An already the grumpy old men are showing up!". Phil Edwards was post three.
One of my regrets is selling APC back in the day. It now has 731,300 posts with 53,200 members. However, ScapeCrunch feels more like a family than APC does, at least to me.
So, thank you for being here and being part of our growing community. Numbers don't matter. What matters is the culture and the people that show up for each other.
