I'd be interested in a thread where people list their DIY recipe, or their favorite DIY recipe, or their knock off of a commercial brand DIY recipe, BUT it not be a thread where people discuss them and it get to be 1000 pages long. If people want to discuss the recipes or ask questions, start a new topic in the forum. I don't want to have to go back to find someone's recipe that I wanted to try only to find it became buried in 30 pages of discussion. Does that make sense? Just a list/catalog of personal/favorite recipes. If a discussion about a recipe develops, maybe a moderator could go back and put a link in the original recipe post to the discussion.

Recipes for what? Fertilizer?

Sure
Are we starting a recipe thread/database or whatever we want to call it?
I’ve got a fertilizer recipe I’m trying out that I’ll post later if it works well. It’s based on apt3.
And I also have a diy remineralizer, about 3 parts calcium sulfate and 1 part magnesium sulfate.

Both of those would be cool. I don't use RO water, but my tap water is KH 0 and GH 0.5. So I've been looking at remineralizing info anyway.

@Art these are very useful, but could perhaps feature more clearly in the site's navigation?

@BenB a copy of the calculation page in one of both calculators could be helpful for your thread.

I always use Rotalla Butterfly, but I'm sure everyone has their own favorite. Someone posted the other recently. I tried it briefly but I couldn't get the hang of it. I need to try it again.

The IFC Calculator is very powerful but there is a learning curve.

@Yugang, this is something we struggle with. Not enough room in navigation to point everything. I will have a think about how to highlight the section more.
