I know there is a lot of work that went into this presentation. Hours of trimming and shaping of groups. But for me the groups look too similar, and some are overly trimmed/topped and lose that natural feel. The main focal point leads you to the small red patch in the rear center. I’d like to see more green and less similar shades of red/pink right next to each other.

This is a stunning aquascape. It takes a lot of work and attn to detail to create and maintain a tank like this. It would benefit from a better placed focal point. The V shape of the background plants command all the attention. And while its a very nice effect, it would be better to not have that dead center. Same goes for the anubias. Google 'rule of thirds' or 'golden ratio' to learn more about the basic artistic principle of focal spots. Also in the future please remove any visible equipment before taking contest photos.

I like the layout but i believe that it doesn't show its true beauty because the plants are freshly trimmed, the light has a very red tint and the equipment is inside the tank.

Bushes have been over trimmed, resulting in thinner top growth and exposing the deterioration old growth beneath. The light coloration is far too purplish to display the coloration of the plants well. As a general rule, if your aquasoil is clearly purple, the light is far too purplish.

Oh the blurple!

The center of tank…whoa! I see two eyes, nose, and a face. It's a butterfly, but I also…ahem…see cleavage. Wait, it's definitely cleavage. Yup. The plants have been trimmed to within an inch of their lives.

But, hey, the pedicellata is on point! I'm giving this tank the max 30 out of 30 for plant health because it's the only tank with un-stunted Ammannia. Please teach the others here how to grow pedicellata.

Suggestions: go easy with the trimming scissors. Try Chihiros Vivid 2 or Week Aqua a430s lights. Remove equipment, even if it is part of a butterfly.
