I've seen these drop off ledge aquariums before but always as a saltwater reef. I was very pleasantly surprised when I saw Andrew's freshwater build. And with discus, no less!

I'm trying to get Andrew over here to see if he can answer some questions but check it out and see everything to this aquarium. It has multiple zones to really develop different environments. Certainly you can go biotope and have a really nice example. But can you imagine shallow foreground plants and crypts in the shallower part with full grown stems in the deeper part?

Looks like Andrew's got a sump going with the skimmer overflow being on the back making this an island setup visible from three sides. And, I even like the Coke can pot. Legendary.

What do you think? Seen anything like this?

I've seen a few of these, and even one in person...I believe. I've been to tons of shows, and I've seen many scapes in person. Memories blend now lol. I think they are cool looking, but I personally wouldn't want one. Not my cup of tea.
