Help Best PLASTIC quick connect for hose?

Per the title, I’m looking for a reliable pair of quick disconnects to hook up to a garden hose I use for my water changer. I got some on Amazon but they leaked badly out of the connection point. Anyone with experience with these that can vouch for a brand? I want them specifically so my refill point can swivel when it’s hanging over the tank. What’s happening is the hose stiffness is causing the connection to loosen while it hangs in the tank. I want the connection to be able to move freely back and forth without unscrewing if that makes sense?

Why not use a brass one?

Is the connecting part of the phyton garbo feeling?

Or is it PVC? Pvc to brass i would feel good about the brass not stripping it out.

Python makes brass fittings for a lot of their connectors.. depends which hook youre mating it with?

I’m not a fan of using the brass fittings on the slight change copper and anything else would leach overtime. If I was just taking water out I wouldn’t care but it’s the going in I’m afraid of

Now this solves my problem, not a quick disconnect, but I only wanted that because I knew it would swivel. This solves that problem and adjusts the angle too.

Bought something similar just different brand and leaked immediately at the quick disconnect.

Yeah i wouldnt use brass on a full time under water fitting. But def would for wc.

I have a set of Gardena quick disconnects with a mpt to npt adapter straight to the existing 12/16 hose barb and it’s worked like a charm for my pvc drain and fill hooks.
