The Aquatic Gardeners Association was founded in 1985 by aquatic plant enthusiasts to appeal to both beginners and experienced hobbyists alike. We publish a printed quarterly journal called The Aquatic Gardener (or TAG), the largest and only English language journal devoted to aquarium plants and planted aquaria. AGA members receive a free subscription to TAG and all special publications, and receive free access to our extensive (since 1985!) online back issue catalog and video archive of past conventions and other livestreams.
