Hi friends, I just did an overhaul of my scape that has been running for 9 months. It's a 55g and the dimensions are 35.4 x 19.7 x 19.7 (90cm x 50cm x 50cm). I am running the Fluval Plant 3.0 at 60%. I have been going through a bunch of different plants over the last couple of months to see what works and doesn't. Below are the ones that have survived (not all are thriving yet):

Trident Java fern
Various Annubias
Various buces
Hygrophilia Pinnifitada
Higrophilia Siamensis
Crypt Tiger Spiralis
Christmas moss

And in my re-scape, I just added dwarf hairgrass and rotala orange juice and rotala h'ra.

Here are the progression photos. The Java Fern took over so I just removed half of it. For stocking, I have a fire red apisto, ember tetras, silvertip tetras dwarf neon rainbowfish and honey gouramis. I welcome any thoughts and suggestions.

Really nice tank already. It will get even better as the plants grow in around that wood.

Does the Hygrophila pinnatifida grow along the wood or will it start to hang down?

Nice start to a tank. And love the Bows!

Thanks so much! Right now the pinnatifida only grows along the wood which is what I want. I have historically had poor success with it so I am happy to see it thriving.
